Aarahan Publishers was launched in 2016 by Nirja Sharma. Having experienced first-hand the difficulties new writers face in the publishing industry, she decided to take a jump from being an editor to providing reliable and customised publishing services for all aspiring authors.

With over 15 years of experience in the field of book publishing, she has worn different hats throughout her journey in the publishing industry – an editor (managing, copy, developmental, substantive editing), writer, ghost-writer, and publisher. In addition, she has edited and written a plethora of academic books, fiction and non-fiction books and articles.

“Once you have a good book in your hands, reaching out to readers becomes easy. Aarahan Publishers is approachable and easy to work with because we adopt a very personalised approach wherein we are involved in every step of the editing and publishing process of each book.”

Her specialty lies in immersing herself in each manuscript and treating each piece of writing as her very own. Let’s hear what she has to say about her journey from being an editor to a publisher.

“I take pride in taking excellent care of the writer’s words while ensuring the manuscript is crisp and flows well, keeping the target audience in mind.”

“My innate feeling for grammar and sentence structure allows me to bring the best out of others’ writing. I love to work with words in any topic or genre and enjoy the collaborative process of feedback and revision.”

“I was the Chief Editor of the biggest academic publishing house in Pune for a decade and have had the fortune of publishing fiction and non-fiction books as a publisher, having essayed multiple roles of developmental editor, copy editor, substantive editor, ghost writer, proofreader and project manager. I have also been writing a blog since 2011.”

“My unique combination of creative abilities and experience of managing writers and projects make me your ideal one stop solution for all your publishing needs.”
